Common questions

Where are my wheels and lists stored?

Only on your device. Dibs has no account and no server. Deleting the app deletes your wheels and lists, and they do not move to a new phone on their own unless you restore a device backup.

How do I make an option more likely?

Edit the wheel and tap the weight on an option. A higher weight gives it a bigger slice and a better chance. You can also switch an option off without deleting it.

How do I stop the same name coming up twice?

Edit the wheel or list and set “After a pick” to Remove winner (wheels) or Remove picked (lists). Each pick then drops out of the draw until you reset it. Nothing is deleted: removed options stay saved and come back when you reset.

The finger chooser didn't pick anyone

It needs at least two fingers on the screen, held still until the countdown finishes. Lifting a finger early takes that person out of the round.

How do I remove the ads?

Open Settings and tap Remove Ads. It is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with.
