Privacy Policy

Celebrate ("the app") is developed by Whizbang Apps ("we", "us"). The free version shows a banner ad; Celebrate Pro is an optional one-time purchase that removes ads and unlocks extra features. This policy explains what the app accesses, what is stored, and the third-party services it uses.

What We Store

Your events stay on your device.

The events you create — names, dates, categories, notes, photos and colours — are stored only on your device. There is no account, and we do not upload your events to any server.

Permissions

Each permission is optional and only asked for when you use the feature that needs it:

Notifications

Asked the first time you set a reminder, so Celebrate can remind you before an event. Reminders are scheduled on your device.

Calendar (add only)

Asked when you tap Add to Calendar. Celebrate can add events to your calendar but cannot read it.

Photos

Celebrate uses the system photo picker, so it only ever sees the photo you choose for an event. It does not ask for access to your photo library.

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (advertising)

The free version shows a banner ad through Google AdMob. Celebrate only requests non-personalised ads and does not track you across other apps, so it never shows Apple's tracking prompt. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may still collect device information such as your approximate location (from IP address), device model and usage data. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Celebrate asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad Privacy Choices. Celebrate Pro users never load the ads SDK. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data from apps.

RevenueCat (purchases)

Celebrate Pro purchases are processed by Apple. RevenueCat helps the app check whether you own Pro; it receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase receipt, not your name or payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

TelemetryDeck (analytics)

We use TelemetryDeck to count how often features are used, so we can improve the app. Signals are anonymous and never include your events. See TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.

In-App Purchases

Celebrate Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never receive or store your payment information.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
