Common questions
Does my script appear in the recorded video?
No. The script is drawn over the camera preview for you to read, and is never written into the file. Everything you export is clean footage.
How does Voice Follow work?
Instead of scrolling at a fixed speed, the script follows the words you actually say. Pause for breath and it waits; go off-script and it holds, then picks you back up when you return to the line. It uses on-device speech recognition — your voice is not sent to us or to Apple. It needs the Speech Recognition permission, which you can grant or revoke in Settings.
Can I use a remote or a foot pedal?
Yes. CueCaster responds to Bluetooth keyboards, presenter clickers and pedals that send key presses, so you can start a take, pause the scroll or change speed with the phone across the room on a tripod.
Can I bring in a script I already wrote?
Yes. Import from Files, iCloud Drive or another provider — plain text, RTF, Markdown, PDF and Word documents all come in.
Why does my export have a watermark?
Free exports carry a small watermark. CueCaster Pro removes it and exports at original quality.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open the Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel.
Where are my recordings stored?
On your device, inside the app. You can play back, rename, share or save a take to Photos at any time. Deleting the app deletes them, so export anything you want to keep.
