Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Five More Minutes ("the app") is developed by Mark Wong ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.
What We Collect
Everything the app creates — your alarms, puzzle settings, and progress — is stored in a local SwiftData store on your device. There is no CloudKit container, and the app's own code opens no network connection. The free version does show banner ads served by Google AdMob, which is described below.
Permissions
The app requests the following permissions, each solely to provide its core functionality:
Your alarms, settings, and step counts never leave your device.
Advertising
The free version of Five More Minutes shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. Google may use a device advertising identifier to select and measure these ads, and where permitted (see App Tracking Transparency above) to personalise them. If you're in the EEA or UK, Google shows a consent form (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested, letting you choose what you're comfortable with. For details on how Google uses this data, see Google's advertising privacy policy.
Premium removes ads entirely. See In-App Purchases below.
In-App Purchases
Five More Minutes offers optional Premium subscriptions (weekly, monthly or yearly) and a one-time lifetime purchase via Apple's StoreKit. Premium removes ads entirely. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.
Third-Party Services
The app integrates one third-party SDK: Google AdMob (with Google's User Messaging Platform for EEA/UK consent), used to serve the banner ads described above. The app does not integrate any analytics or other tracking SDKs.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect data from children or any other users.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
