Privacy Policy

Hueby ("the app") is developed by Mark Wong ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.

What We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Hueby has no server, no accounts and no sign-in. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere — there is nowhere for it to be sent.

What Stays On Your Device

Everything the app keeps, it keeps locally:

Pictures you are part-way through colouring.
Pictures you have imported from your photo library.
A count of how many free imports you have used.

None of it is synced to a cloud service or backed up by us. Deleting the app deletes all of it. If your device is included in an iCloud or computer backup, that backup is Apple's and yours — we have no access to it.

Photos

Photo Library

Import Studio turns a photo into a picture you can colour. Photos are chosen through Apple's system photo picker, so the app is never given access to your library as a whole — only the single image you select is handed to it. Converting that image happens entirely on your device, and the result is stored on your device.

You can delete an imported picture from inside the app at any time.

In-App Purchases

The Creatures, Landscapes, Patterns, Space and Beach picture packs, and the Studio unlock for unlimited photo imports, are one-time purchases handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details. "Restore Purchases" simply asks Apple which of these you already own.

Third-Party Services

The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Nothing tracks you, in the app or across other apps and websites.

Children

Hueby is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Your Data Rights

Requests to access, export or delete personal data are usually part of a privacy policy. There is nothing for us to act on here: we hold no data about you, so there is nothing to hand over, nothing to delete, and nothing to sell or share. Everything Hueby stores is on your device, under your control — reset a picture, delete an import, or delete the app to remove the lot.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
